Makai Lemon will face his old Trojan friends in Week 16 Thursday game
Thursday Night Football usually does not attract as much attention as other primetime games in the NFL. In Week 16, however, the NFL is trying to pull in all USC fans. In December, Thursday Night Football will feature multiple former Trojans. The Houston Texans will take on Makai Lemon and the Philadelphia Eagles in one of the final Thursday Night Football games of the season.
The Houston Texans are known for having more USC Trojans in their squad than most teams. So far, the return on investment has been great. Calen Bullock is a star safety in this league, Jaylin Smith is a great player on special teams, and Woody Marks is a very valuable back, only 1 year in. They have now added versatile safety Kamari Ramsey in the mix, who will definitely be able to carve a role in this defense.
Kamari Ramsey and Calen Bullock will have the job of keeping new Eagles receiver Makai Lemon in check. By this point, Makai Lemon should more than likely be a big part of the Eagles’ offense. I think he can be one of Jalen Hurts best targets. Nobody knows Makai Lemon better than Kamari Ramsey, who faced him in practice for two straight years.
Woody Marks was also a teammate of Kamari Ramsey and Lemon in the last few years. His job will be to dominate in the run game and be another asset for C.J. Stroud to help the Texans put up a dominant offensive performance. Each USC Trojan featured in this game will have an impact on how this game swings, making for a fun Thursday night match.
