Former Australia international and State of Origin hooker Damien Cook has agreed a two-year deal with Castleford Tigers.
The 34-year-old, who currently plays for St George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League, will join the Super League club for the 2027 season.
Cook has played in four Tests for the Kangaroos and 17 State of Origin matches for New South Wales, as well as making 248 appearances in the NRL.
“Damien is a terrific signing for our club,” Cas head coach Ryan Carr told the club website.
“He’s a great person, a proven leader and an outstanding rugby league player who brings a wealth of experience and a real competitive edge.
“His professionalism and desire for success fit perfectly with what we’re building here at Castleford.”
