

Kansas City Current co-owner, Brittany Mahomes, spent Mother’s Day at the soccer stadium with Patrick Mahomes and their three children as the Current stayed unbeaten with a dominant win over Chicago Stars FC. The family watched from CPKC Stadium while star forward, Temwa Chawinga scored a first-half hat trick in a 3-0 victory on Sunday. The outing came during a busy week for the Mahomes family after Brittany Mahomes recently opened up about dealing with a painful wrist condition, while Patrick Mahomes continues recovering from knee surgery ahead of the NFL season.

Brittany Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes brought daughters, Sterling Skye and Golden Raye, along with son, Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes III, to cheer for the Kansas City Current during their NWSL matchup against Chicago Stars FC. It turned into a celebration for the home team. Temwa Chawinga, the reigning NWSL MVP, scored three goals in just 27 minutes during the first half and helped Kansas City take complete control of the game early. By the time she left in the 77th minute, the result was already settled.
