South Korea icon Son Heung Min is heading to his fourth World Cup after being named in the 26-man squad on Saturday.
Former Tottenham striker Son, 33, is now at Los Angeles FC.
Midfielder Hwang In Beom is included despite an an ankle injury. Borussia Mönchengladbach player Jens Castrop, born in Germany to a South Korean mother, is also making the trip to North America.
South Korea play their three Group A matches in Mexico, starting against the Czech Republic on June 11. They also face Mexico and South Africa.
