Michael Jackson privately admitted to being sexually abused as a child to his close friend, Geoffrey Mark
In a recent interview with The New York Post, Michael Jackson’s close friend, Geoffrey Mark, opened up about an unheard traumatic incident of the late pop icon. In the interview, Geoffrey revealed that once Michael had privately admitted to being sexually abused as a child to him. Mark stated that when MJ was a child performer, he was inappropriately touched by an adult. However, to Michael, it was normal as never considered it wrong. For the late singer, it was a natural act, and he considered it to be playtime. Mark was quoted as saying:
“Michael told me he experienced abuse as a kid. He was inappropriately touched by an adult. Michael said that he was sexually abused. He didn’t use those terms, because he didn’t think of it as abuse or sex. It was playtime. Michael shared, very broadly, news that there was intergenerational touching and beyond. It’s not like Michael said, ‘Oh, I was abused.’ That would never have crossed his mind. Because he had been conditioned that this was normal and natural. . . . Other then it did happen a lot, it was a part of his growing up and was normal.”
