Even though the film received mixed reactions on the release day – both from critics and viewers – it was successful at performing well at the box office. The film was pitted against Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi’s Ek Din and did comparatively well. Riteish Deshmukh’s historical action drama earned Rs 11.35 crore on its first day.

According to the latest Sacnilk update, on Day 7, the historical drama managed to earn Rs 4 crore across 6,128 shows. Of this, Rs 1.25 crore was raked in from its Hindi version, while the Marathi edition has collected Rs 2.75 crore. With this, the total revenue collected from the film has surpassed Rs 50 crore. Hence, it has marked a strong milestone for the period drama at the box office. It has earned Rs 52.65 crore so far.

Going by the latest report on Sacnilk, Raja Shivaji earned Rs 4.25 crore on day 6. It was clearly less than what it had earned previous day – Rs 4.90 crore. The film’s collection amounted to Rs 11.35 crore on its opening day. On the weekend, the film gained some momentum, with Rs 10.55 crore haul on Saturday, and 12 crore earned on Sunday.
