The 87th annual Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta is now underway on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
Chopper 6 flew over some of the races, which kicked off at 8 a.m. on Friday.
It’s the largest collegiate regatta in the United States, featuring thousands of student athletes from more than 100 colleges and universities.
The Dad Vail is taking place on the Cooper River for the fourth consecutive year.
The event runs through Saturday.
