On Thursday, Melissa Lawrence, the QB’s wife, posted an Instagram story that showed parts of her husband’s hair on the floor. NFL fans quickly jumped on the possibility that Jacksonville’s gridiron general may come to camp with a more streamlined look.
Nothing is written in stone yet, but the fact is that Lawrence has cut a portion of his hair. The full extent remains to be seen. However, if the Jaguar were to let his locks go, it wouldn’t be the first time he rocked short hair on his head.

On Thursday afternoon, Lawrence’s wife, Melissa, posted on her Instagram story that appeared to show a collection of her husband’s hair on the floor of a barber shop. She even tagged him with a barber pole emoji. Here is her post, which has since gone viral on social media.

No further update has come out just yet, but it certainly appears that Lawrence has cut some of his hair, at a minimum. For now, NFL fans will have to wait for a follow-up on whether Jacksonville’s quarterback will sport a new look heading into the team’s training camp.
Depending on how short he cuts his hair, the outcome may come as a surprise for some. However, this wouldn’t be the first time Lawrence would have short hair.

Trevor Lawrence contract details
Prior to the 2024 season, Lawrence signed a five-year, $275 million extension with the Jaguars, according to Spotrac. The deal included $200 million in guaranteed money and $142 million fully guaranteed at the time he signed.
Before that, Lawrence was on a four-year, $36.7 million rookie contract. The former Clemson Tiger was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 draft.
