The final weekend of ACC regular season play is upon us, with multiple programs jockeying for seeding in the conference tournament.
Both Georgia Tech and North Carolina are in position to win the ACC regular-season crown. The rest of the league fights for favorable seeding, including a big weekend in the race for the double-bye top four seeds between Florida State and Miami in Tallahassee.
With that said, let’s dive into the ACC baseball power rankings!

Up next: NC State
Last week: 1

Record: 42-8 (22-5 ACC)
Up next: Boston College
Last week: 2
What to know: Georgia Tech’s offense continues to punish opposing pitching staffs, scoring 39 runs in a dominant sweep over Duke and likely winning the ACC regular season title.
3. Florida State
Record: 36-15 (17-10 ACC)
Up next: Miami
Last week: 3
What to know: FSU’s pitching staff stepped up and the Seminoles blasted six homers in a series win over Clemson, which sets up a dramatic final series against Miami.
4. Boston College
Record: 36-17 (17-10 ACC)
Up next: Georgia Tech
Last week: 4
What to know: The Eagles have a chance to secure a top-four seed in the ACC tournament, a remarkable feat for the program if they pull it off. Yet, a weekend against Georgia Tech is no easy task.
5. Miami

— Miami Hurricanes Baseball (@CanesBaseball) May 8, 2026
Record: 35-15 (15-12 ACC)
Up next: Florida State
Last week: 6
What to know: Miami’s offense is one of the best in the country, which was displayed in a series win over Louisville. The only problem for the Hurricanes is that the bullpen is one of the most unreliable in the nation.
6. Virginia
Record: 33-18 (13-14 ACC)
Up next: Louisville
Last week: 5
What to know: Cal strolled into Charlottesville and took the series against Virginia, who remain a confusing team capable of making a run in the ACC tournament or flaming out quickly.
7. Wake Forest
Record: 35-17 (14-13 ACC)
Up next: Duke
Last week: 7
What to know: Wake Forest strolled through a non-conference weekend series win over Western Carolina and is in position to potentially finish inside the top four of the ACC standings if results elsewhere favor the Demon Deacons.
8. Virginia Tech
Record: 27-22 (13-14 ACC)
Up next: Clemson
Last week: 8
What to know: Virginia Tech split a non-conference weekend with UNCG, but after a bleak start, the Hokies have turned things around this season ahead of the postseason.
9. Pitt
Record: 28-21 (10-17 ACC)
Up next: Notre Dame
Last week: 9
What to know: A tough weekend in Chapel Hill for the Panthers, who were swept. Pitt needs a big weekend to secure a favorable conference tournament seed, and should they get it, the Panthers will be a tough out with the offense.
10. North Carolina State
Record: 31-19 (13-14 ACC)
Up next: North Carolina
Last week: 10
What to know: Things have slightly gone south for the Wolfpack with injuries throughout the pitching staff. Yet, NC State is a team that can challenge the best in a one-off game in the ACC tournament.
11. Stanford
Record: 25-23 (12-15 ACC)
Up next: Cal
Last week: 15
What to know: Stanford is starting to put things together at a good time, picking up another series win, this time over NC State, ahead of another winnable series against Cal.
12. Louisville
Tague stands alone at the top of the @ACCBaseball home run list.

— Louisville Baseball (@LouisvilleBSB) May 9, 2026
Record: 27-25 (11-16 ACC)
Up next: Virginia
Last week: 12
What to know: Louisville likely has the ACC Player of the Year in Tauge Davis, who set the single-season home run record, but that might be the only silverware the Cardinals will compete for after an inconsistent year, mainly hampered by injury.
13. Notre Dame
Record: 27-20 (11-16 ACC)
Up next: Pitt
Last week: 14
What to know: A strange season for the Irish, who at their best are a top-25 caliber team, ends with a showdown against Pitt and a chance to elevate conference tournament seeding.
14. Cal

— Cal Baseball (@CalBaseball) May 8, 2026
Record: 27-24 (10-17 ACC)
Up next: Stanford
Last week: 16
What to know: Cal put together the most impressive win of the weekend, traveling to Virginia and beating the Cavs to set up a final weekend vs. Stanford that could catapult Cal up the standings or see them finish dead last.
15. Clemson
Record: 30-22 (9-18 ACC)
Up next: Virginia Tech
Last week: 13
What to know: The Tigers stole a game against Florida State, but the Seminoles never truly looked out of control of the series, as Clemson’s woes continue, and the postseason seems unlikely without a magical run in the ACC tournament.
16. Duke
Record: 23-28 (9-18 ACC)
Up next: Wake Forest
Last week: 11
What to know: The Blue Devils are the lone ACC program with a record below .500 and are tied for the worst conference record with Clemson. A tough opening season for Corey Muscara.
