On the field in 2025, Curt Cignetti and the Indiana Hoosiers walked the walk of a championship team, putting together the first 16-0 season in college football and taking home the program’s first title. Now, they’re starting to walk the walk of a championship team in the recruiting world, as well.
On Thursday, a massive recruiting prediction came down for the Hoosiers to land 5-star wide receiver Monshun Sales, the No. 1-rated WR in the 2027 class, and the No. 7 overall player in the class. Sales stands at 6-foot-5, 195 pounds, and is one of the most sought-after players in the entire class.
Of course, Indiana is going to have to fight off other teams, like the Ohio State Buckeyes, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Texas Longhorns, to land Sales, but so far, it appears that they are in a good position.

So far this cycle, the Hoosiers are still working to put a respectable class together, but after landing some big names in the portal and hosting a bunch of blue-chip players on visits, there is an expectation that the commitments start rolling in.
Should Sales end up going to the Hoosiers and staying home in Indiana, it would be arguably the biggest commitment of the Cignetti era in Bloomington.
