Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel’s affair drama is currently the talk of the town. With every passing day, the scandal is taking new turns. Amid the fiasco, Dianna has stepped down from her position at The Athletic just a week after Page Six released some lovey-dovey photos of the two holding hands and hugging each other. While NFL fans are disgusted about the alleged affair, Mike is getting full support from his team. Now, ESPN’s NBA analyst, Stephen A. Smith, came to Mike’s defence.
Sports analyst claims that Mike Vrabel did no wrong, for which he needs to lose his job
It has raised many eyebrows as Mike Vrabel is still the head coach of the New England Patriots, and the owner, Robert Kraft, has not fired him. In fact, social media users shared that he must step down from his position because Dianna had to resign, allegedly due to their scandal. Now, ESPN’s NBA analyst, Stephen A. Smith, opened up about the alleged affair on his podcast, The Stephen A. Smith Show. He urged people not to act like that, as if Mike doesn’t deserve to be the head coach of the New England Patriots. Sharing his support, Stephen said:
“If you know anything about football, you know the man can coach and that the man did his job. Let’s not act like this is a man who doesn’t deserve to be the head coach of the New England Patriots. And regardless of what we may feel, what some out there may feel about the allegations associated with him, he broke no laws. He committed no crimes. He just made decisions, allegedly, that others would refrain from. That doesn’t mean he should lose his job.”
