The Kansas City Chiefs will rely on rookie defensive lineman Peter Woods to provide some extra push for their pass-rush next season after the team’s defense fell flat in 2026.
Woods, a former Clemson Tigers sack-master at the collegiate level, joined the Chiefs as a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and will almost certainly be a starter on Kansas City’s front four later this year.
Though it is still unclear exactly how Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will use Woods next season, the NFL experts at Film Watchers are bullish on the Clemson standout’s trajectory in the veteran playcaller’s system.
