The Los Angeles Rams are set to host the NFL’s first-ever game on Thanksgiving Eve in 2026.
The Rams, who already were announced to be kicking off the season against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia, will also host the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 25, as reported by ESPN.
Kickoff time for that November game is expected to be 5 p.m. PT.
Both the Melbourne game and the Thanksgiving Eve game will be broadcasted by Netflix.
What’s ahead for the Los Angeles Rams in 2026?
Coming off a close loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game, the Rams look ready to compete again for the Lombardi Trophy in 2026.
The reigning MVP, Matthew Stafford, is back, as are stars like wide receiver Puka Nacua and linebacker Jared Verse.
While many expected the Rams to draft another offensive weapon for Stafford ahead of another run at the Super Bowl, the Rams instead drafted quarterback Ty Simpson out of Alabama 13th overall.
Popular predictions for the Rams often included players like USC receiver Makai Lemon, who instead went to the Philadelphia Eagles.
While Lemon or a similar player could have made an impact immediately, the Simpson pick, which puzzled many in the sports world, is much more a set up for future success than it is an investment in the coming season.
Only time will tell if the Rams made the right decision.
One thing that is for sure in the upcoming season, though, is slight modifications to the Rams’ uniforms and logo.
The minor refresh for the Rams marks the first tweak to their logo and uniforms since they moved back to LA a decade ago.
