Chelsea Women striker Sam Kerr will leave Chelsea at the end of the season when her contract expires, after six-and-a-half years at the club.
Kerr leaves as Chelsea’s fourth-highest appearance maker, and has scored 115 goals for the club. She has won five WSL titles, three FA Cups, three League Cups and the Community Shield.
The Australian said: “When I reflect on my Chelsea career and doing it for the last time [against Manchester United this Saturday], I just feel happy. Happy that it happened, and I feel so grateful to have played for this club for six years and won as many trophies as we could.”
Kerr is Chelsea’s all-time top scorer in the Women’s Super League.
