The San Antonio Spurs look to advance to the Western Conference Finals when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center Friday for Game 6.
The Spurs hammered the T-Wolves crushed in Game 5, 126-97, to take a 3-2 series lead. Victor Wembanyama bounced back after being ejected early in Game 4 for elbowing Minnesota’s Naz Reid. Wembanyama had 27 points and 17 rebounds in the victory.
Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has been a force despite being injured before the series. He’s averaging a team-high 23.6 points in this series on 50.6% shooting and 40.0% from behind the arc. Minnesota will need him to go off in hopes of forcing a Game 7.
