Joni died on May 7, 2026 and two weeks before her death, she took to her Instagram handle to celebrate the birthday of her second husband, Doug Weiss. Joni Lamb posted a cute selfie of herself cheek-to-cheek with her husband, Doug Weiss. She had worn a navy-blue-hued outfit, while Doug had worn a black-and-white formal suit with a bow. In her caption, she adorably called Doug a wonderful husband and wrote:
